dung Happens, why do some people always have to have a go at the club?!!!! exactly. and it seems like it isn't a lot of tickets. It's not like they were turning huge queues of people away, and got it wrong by 2,000 tickets.

You tried in person or online, but they were 'sold-out'...so you commiserate and try to find a pub somewhere....then you go online tomorrow find the club 'found' some missing tickets but in the meantime someone else has obviously now snapped them up. It's not hard to organise selling 12000 tickets. Sacking most of the staff last summer obviously didn't help, but there was clearly no planning, no coordination and no chance of it running smoothly (or even fairly)...

Can see your point i really can, but if the tickets went on sale right now some would still miss out. yes i think they messed up by selling from two places at the mem, but if the online ticketing software goes down theres not much anyone can do about it, so it's six of one and 1/2 dozen of t'udder

Can you suggest a better method of doing it when they only had a few hours notice to implement it ? Yes I can. Start planning a week before it was necessary. The club gets a massive financial windfall if we go up automatically, so it's not as though that money would be 'wasted'. The whole thing (away sales, priority sales and general sale) looks like the club only realised we would be in the playoffs at 7.30pm on Saturday...

Went up to the ground at 9:30 this morning and bought two tickets for the North Terrace. They said they had about 100 left all over the ground due to the online system crashing yesterday.

Glastonbury can sell 100,000+ in minutes, a massive tour by (for example) Take That or the Foo Fighters can sell 100,000+ for multiple venues in minutes. We need a better online ticket seller...
