Just wondering what roughly the POTENTIAL financial boost is of being promoted by the play offs ?
My Guess
Extra Home Game 11000 @ average £15 / head ? = £165,000 Share of Wembley Sales 40000 @ average £10 / head ? = £400,000 Extra TV rights / Sponsorship / Merchandise ? = £100,000
These are just figures plucked out of the sky !!
Bet "Tony the Tills" eyes are flashing pound signs !!

Don't forget a lot of the crowd at the home matches are concessions, and then 20% VAT comes off as well. More likely to average £6... then you have stewards, police costs etc.
Do we keep the Wembley money we generate?
Whatever happens, we should be budgeting to break even next year with a realistic average crowd, shouldn't be as hard when averaging 6.5k.. rather than overspending and losing £500k+ a year.

Do we keep the Wembley money we generate? It'll be interesting to know that answer?
Given we were only getting £6k for live BT games I doubt we'll get alot for the final? I guess £500K in total maybe a fair shout if we keep the Wembley but surely that's nearer £20 per head, although £500K is also the figure we'll lose if we don't go up!

In the football league play-offs, the Wembley gate used to be divided up between the 4 teams who participated in them. Don't know if that applies to conference play-offs.

What's the prize money for winning/winning play-offs at this level? Pretty certain there is none. which is only fair otherwise the best team (in this case Barnet) would lose out financially after winning the title. Also pretty sure the wembley money is shared, possibly with the other conference teams. May be wrong of course.

some facts:
In all Play-Off Semi-Final Ties the HOME CLUB will retain all income from the attendance and its own commercial sales. The VISITING CLUB will be responsible for all its own costs for the AWAY TIE.
The Conference board decide what (if any) TV fees are paid to the clubs involved.
The balance of the net proceeds after deductions shall be divided between the two clubs in the Promotion Final Tie at a rate set by the Board of Directors prior to the commencement of the season

"at a rate set by the Board of Directors prior to the commencement of the season"
Do they keep it a secret as I assume that rate could be anywhere from 1% to 100%?

I would assume each season they 'decide' to split the income proportionally based on ticket sales for the match....can't actually find that information anywhere though...
