A Dortmund style display on the blackthorn would be class.

What looked really good against Alfreton were the flags draped from the posh seats in the Upper West stand. Especially the large skull & cross bones. Good if the whole stand could be draped with flags.

A Dortmund style display on the blackthorn would be class. Sadly that's be impossible without set positions for people.

Lets hope the club take full advantage of the supporters high spirits. Get selling flags scarves ballons etc in the car park, and get the surfer flag out!

What has happened to the surfing flag It's still in the groundsmans shed. The club wanted somebody in the Blackthurn end to arrange surfing it last match. But we couldn't find anyone. You think there would be loads of volunteers to get in the ground early, pick it up, prepare the orientation, surf it, get harassed by fans, put it away in its bin liner, fight to find a spot to watch the game, look after £1000 worth and 7kg of material for 90 mins and take it to the club shop at the end of the match (to the utter surprise of all the staff in the shop). But it seems nobody is interested. Weird.

We do indeed but you'll need to stand left of the halfway line and it echoes over from the Blackthorn...

Thanks for the reply guys.
Better get down the pub for 9 then! some dutch courage will be needed if I'm starting it.
What's the view like? I tend to stand as far back as I can in the blackthorne?

I remember similar conversations before the Southampton game years back in the FA cup, requested even by the club. Yet on the day the stewards objected to my flag because it was partially covering an advertising hoarding So much for flags all around the ground on that occasion
