Been advised by BRFC that if, sorry, when we get into the final, that tickets will NOT be sold by BRFC but by a ticket agency appointed by Vanarama, as happened in 2007.
Looking at that ticket it had been pre-printed as it shows "Bristol Rovers or Lincoln City Area".

Does it have to happen this way?
Cant help but feel like rovers are missing out on some cash by letting another company do it for them?

Also how do a third party deal with priority groups?

With the timescale involved I think it is essential to use a professional ticket distributor
Ok online can be a pain, but so is queuing and then being offered a crap choice of seat when you get to the ticket counter........... as happened the last time we got to Wembley and caused a fair bit of discontent in the queue.

Also how do a third party deal with priority groups? Cannot remember how it worked in 2007. I assume that BRFC will supply a database otherwise it will be a free for all.
To be honest, with the short time scale, I would not be surprised if there will be no eligibility criteria.
Q melt down of the server when it opens for sale of tickets.

timescale? 2 weeks is ages in comparison to FGR. Considering we sold 825 FGR in minus 5 minutes [sold out before officially on sale], and circa 6-7,000 general sale tickets in 3 hours, in 2 weeks we should sell about 231,500 tickets. all an IF of course...

Good question re: priority tickets, but there's no way that BRFC would be able to deal with 35k+ ticket sales. Maybe tickets will be on sale for ST holders etc. for a few days then general sale online.
I see that we sold 35k last time in 72 hours, with an extra 5k going on sale later. I think we'd sell a similar number again given that we've got two weeks to do it.
Anyway, we're not there yet so not going to get too hung up on all this.

I can't remember either. I remember calling seetickets or ticketmaster or whoeverit was but I don't recall them asking for my SC membership number.

Wonder how many sheeds will make the trip, considering they were at FGR. Sad c*nts.

Does it have to happen this way? Cant help but feel like rovers are missing out on some cash by letting another company do it for them? They can barely deal with selling circa 6-7k tickets at a time, let alone the full (I have heard?) 27k+ that is likely for the final. I don't think it would be for the best. We may not need to worry about this anyway. All the threads and discussions about hotels, coaches and tickets are stressing me out! There is a long way to go in this tie yet.

How would a disabled person confined to a wheelchair get a ticket Please ensure when you book your tickets through the nominated ticket operator you advise them of any special requirements e.g. disabled seating or audio enhancements. Visitors must ensure that their powered wheelchair or scooter is fully charged for the duration of their visit to Wembley Stadium; including their journey to and from the Stadium. Visitors using powered wheelchairs or scooters will be allocated a wheelchair accessible space at the Stadium, which includes the availability of a Personal Assistant space Visitors will be required to remain in their powered wheelchair or scooter for the duration of their visit, as there are no storage facilities available. Visitors using powered wheelchairs or scooters must ensure that they inform the ticket agent, at the time of purchasing that they require a wheelchair accessible space for the event. Powered wheelchairs and scooters can be used in all wheelchair accessible spaces that are available across all levels of the stadium. Please email Access.ForAll@TheFA.com if you have any questions regarding your visit to Wembley Stadium. More info here

As stated before we do have 2weeks to deal with the high volume of ticket request. Our website crashed when we put the FGR tickets on sale and there were queues round the block. Multiply that by 4-5x at least and I think we would be in for a bad time. People wouldn't be spacing it out over those two weeks, there would be an initial surge which we couldn't really deal with, followed by the next two weeks playing catch up.

A bit of planning and its very do able.
ST holders and club members each have a day, the general sale would get a tad crazy but a message on the OS or local rag saying enough tickets for every one would help lots. Lets face it we're not going to sell out so I know I wont be rushing down and waiting in a que.

I recall buying tickets via Seetickets last time was a bit of nightmare, I think because there were problems sending the tickets out not ordering them? But surely if Ticketmaster etc can cope with selling Glastonbury/One Direction/FA Cup final tickets etc they can cope with a Conference Play off final?
As far as Rovers missing out on some income as it all goes into a big pot to be dished out by the Conference I doubt it makes a lot of difference to our income?
