The fact that both Bristol clubs played at home to capacity crowds more or less at the same time on the same day and there has been no trouble between the fans whatsoever.? There has been no battles in the Gloucester Road, no mayhem in the City Centre no trouble, zip, none .
Yet for as long as time the Avon and Somerset village plod have refused point blank to let the teams play at home on the same day because they said that they wouldn't have the manpower to cope with the full on public disorder that would most definitely follow. So how come it's not news that the police's paranoia and hysterics are completely unfounded? That there is no reason both teams can't be at home at the same time on occasion just like has always been the case in other two team cities?
You can be sure that if there had been a single incident of trouble between Rovers and 82 fans on Sunday no matter how minor it would have been headline news so how come no coverage that it's all good and fans can be trusted to watch their team without having the urge to battle with their rivals? Two home games on the same day for the first time ever with no trouble whatsoever and it's not news!

The media shouldn't have to report on people behaving normal/responsibly.

The media shouldn't have to report on people behaving normal/responsibly. What is news is that people behaved themselves despite Avon & Somerset refusing to ever let it happen before because they predicted Armageddon!

There is probably fights between Rovers and City fans every week somewhere in this city. If there was Serious group violence on Sunday it would have been all over the local media yesterday.
