Consider driving to Wycombe, take a sh** in their car park and then get the train straight to Wembley

Consider driving to Wycombe, take a dung in their car park and then get the train straight to Wembley Seems quicker than driving to be fair.

Seriously though, I can remember a day when we were at Wycombe on the same day as the Challenge Cup Final - loads of rugby league fans in Wycombe getting the train down from there for the last leg of the journey

Anyone else have views on travel time if parking near stadium ? 4 hours puts me off a bit of driving and parking nearby.
In the past we have parked at an underground station, but looks like paying on the day will cost £12 for an underground ticket ( what a rip off, was about £8 last time ). any tricks to get the tube cost down, or any decent mainline stations with cheap fares in ? A lot of us going so a few pounds saved adds up for the whole group.

I am not driving this time, but have parked before in the side streets of Chiswick tube station, but that was a few years ago I don't know if there are permits in force now though.

The only cheap option on the tube these days is to use an Oyster Card or use contactless card payment - this usually cuts the cost of a normal fare in half or thereabouts.

BTW this car park closes an hour after the event has ended. I wonder what the end of the event is, could it be the last singing of Irene or 'We are going up' hope its not the end of the game or running shoes will be required.

Finally booked a space. Went on justpark in the end...£16 to park outside someone's garage. 2 minutes from the green man. 0.4 mile to the Stadium and 0.4 mile to the town centre so ideally located! Also will be quicker to get out than a proper car park, also can leave whenever I like during the day.

I noticed a lot of the car parks are like that so that put me off them. I suggest justpark website as you can pick one that suits your requirements.

You can park at the Green Man (5 min walks from stadium). Not sure if you have to book a parking space beforehand?

Doing the same as last time. Borrow my Mum's disabled blue badge and park at the ground for free. Straight in and out. Yeah screw any actual disabled people that may need the space

Very expensive sounding, all these. Just choose Preston Road or Northwick Park (1 and 2 stops north of Wembley Park) on the Metropolitan Line. Park up and get the tube. Loads and loads of quiet side streets, lots of spaces, free on a Sunday, 5 mins to Wembley.
