So where is everyone gathering before the game then?
I am still deciding on where to book a hotel for the Saturday night. Don't really want to stay around Wembley as there is nothing there.
Just wondering where everyone is planning on going? Anyone around the Saturday night as well?

Leicester Square was amazing before our last game and the weatherspoons there opens at 8.30am! The only downside that with a 2pm ko, many not as many will go there this time

There's a big Weatherspoon's called the Metropolitan Bar right next to Baker St underground which is only a couple of stops from Wembley. I went there before an England game and it had a great atmosphere in there so probably head there for a swift one. Shame it's a 2pm kick off really, would have liked a bit longer to settle the nerves. If you can cope with the fact that you are in a Weatherspoon's then I'd recommend it, a bit cheaper than the usual London drinking establishment too.

I just quoted weather spoons because of the opening time! There was another bar (Yates I think?) next to it and a couple of hundred gas outside those two pubs last time.

For all Gasheads arriving at Wembley early, everyone is meeting up at The Green Man pub which opens at 9am. Last time we were there they had a Bar-B-Q in their back garden. Got to be the main place again!!

I wasn't sure who would the Green Man would be allocated to. Now that it appears to be us this could be the best option, especially with the early kick off there won't be much time for central London drinking

I'm drinking from the second I step foot on the mini bus until kick off then again at half time and then again at full time. Hopefully at full time it will be celebration drinking and not drowning my sorrows

Garden is very nice. But it'll rain. www.thegreenmanhotelatwembley.co.uk

Green man is decent. Although we may not have a choice to go there, anyone any idea on when the allocated pubs details are out??
