Have to say that I'm rather surprised and disappointed about the number of tickets we've sold, especially after our average away attendance this season. Initially I thought we'd take about 17-18k but the way it's looking at the minute we'll be lucky to shift 15k. I just bought 15 tickets at lunchtime and had no problem getting in Block 110 behind the goal, although that was 3 rows together of 5 seats. I can offer up a few reasons why our tickets sales have been so poor but there shouldn't really be any excuse for what I reckon is the most important game in our history. We were at Wembley only 2 seasons ago in the FA Trophy final and also the further distance we need to travel, but a big factor is that due to engineering works the first train out of Grimsby arrives at Wembley at 14:18. Well done to your fans though, you've already shifted an incredible amount of tickets. However many we take though I'm sure we'll be in good voice and give you a good run for your money in the vocal stakes and the one thing I do want to know is "Will Craig Disley celebrate when he scores a stoppage time winner for us" See you all a week on Sunday. I hope your ticket sales pick up this weekend - would make for a cracking atmosphere with a few more Grimsby fans. Just seems a shame that one of us will be playing conference football next year. Its difficult to believe that a club the size of Grimsby has spent 5 years languishing in non league football.

Interesting they have started putting neutral sales into 119 (Grimsby Cat 1 on map)

Using common sense we'd kick off at 3pm, but sadly commen & sense don't go together when football is concerned! I just hope we manage to beat the Conference final max attendance between us two & the "neutrals". I still think charging £30 for tier 5 back rows is a rip off when it was only £20 for the JPT. As far as Diss do you think his legs are up to 90 mins on the Wembley pitch, particularly chasing Lines around for most of them?

Someone on here said that BT Sport can't have any of their games kicking off at 3.00PM.

Although Dizza's 33 now he's still one of the fittest players in our squad and I'm sure he'll still be running around the pitch be it the 95th or even 120th minute. He's done well this season, had a very slow start when he was written off my quite a few of our fans as past it, but since then he's been superb and weighed in with a few important goals (I'm sure you remember his late winner at Barnet) and but for the consistency of Carl Magnay could well have been our Player Of The Year.

Anybody know which blocks we've sold in the third tier? I'm guessing 552-546 (working left) which works to just under 20 blocks left

My prediction is it'll creep over the 40k line by Monday and we'll end up with about 43k by next Sunday. Can't see many tickets being snapped up in the week

Hopefully the stadium is at least 50% full , but even that would be a little disappointing .

I'm guessing 552-546 (working left) which works to just under 20 blocks left i I needed 56 tickets yesterday morning got through at 10am and I couldn't get us all together unless I went in tier 5 , we are all sat together between rows 30 & 34 in block 552 right on the half way line which you would imagine would be bang next door to Grimsby fans , bring it on

Wembley Tickets UpdateBy: Rob Sedgwick Date: 09/05/2015 GRIMSBY have sold around 10,000 tickets so far with their opponents Bristol Rovers having shipped around three times as many. Tickets cost £41 each, or £36 for Category 2 tickets. Concessions (Juniors Under 16 years of age) are available for £18.00. Tickets won't be available on the day, they need to be bought in advance from seetickets.com, and every ticket has a £3 booking fee. Tickets can either be posted to you or collected at the stadium. Grimsby should sell several thousand more tickets but it looks likely that less than 20,000 Town fans will take their seats at Wembley, and have to settle for watching the game live on TV. Grimsby last got promoted 17 years ago, and that was the last time Town played in a play-off final at Wembley. It was also the last time that the Mariners lifted a major trophy. They have appeared at Wembley in the JPT and FAT finals in the intervening years, but lost both matches. www.thefishy.co.uk/story.php?id=8502817

I can't imagine either side will sell too many more.

The Grimsby report seems way out - I don't think we are near 30000 yet and yes not many more will be sold by either club.

I still think we will sell a few thousand more once the build up to the game begins . People in work, pubs & schools will be talking about the match & it is easy to book a ticket online and pick it up at the stadium on the day. Utg

not many more will be sold by either club. How do you know this ? Not all people are paid at the same time of the month. I can remember leading up to the play-off final with Shrewsbury we continued to sell tickets right up until a few days before.Let's wait and see what happens.
