IMO it will be the same team that started the 1st leg of the semi final play offs at FGR. I cannot see DC dropping Lockyer.

I would play Lockyer. Would be gutted for lad after the season he has had. Lockyer would be incredibly unfortunate to miss out after the season he's had, playing 47 games across 4 different positions, and never letting us down. He also popped up with the winner away at Grimsby, which at the time was a vital goal. Games BRFC have played without Tom Lockyer in the team this season: 3 Games BRFC have lost without Tom Lockyer in the team this season: 3

Totally agree, if we are chasing the game could see both Leadbitter and Blissett coming on, but hope we don't get to that stage. Need to start well at a good tempo, and let Linesy and Manse boss the midfield.

Mehewmagic Hugo The Elder - Roverdrive - Cantankerous - Hugo The Younger Inee - Baggins - Empirebaypete - Tilly's Thighs T-bone T-bone How can you play the clueless ones up front? None of those will end up with more than 15 goals. I only speak the truth.

Mehewmagic Hugo The Elder - Roverdrive - Cantankerous - Hugo The Younger Inee - Baggins - Empirebaypete - Tilly's Thighs T-bone T-bone Thanks mate, but I don't think I can make it. I did buy a lottery ticket this week, but didn't win. I don't even have a valid passport at the moment. Both of them are expired.

You need a squad that enables you to change tactics when you need to. Harrison has been a super sub because he's added an unexpected threat when he's come on and defenders have got in a muddle before sussing him out. Blisset adds another dimension when he comes on. You start with the players best suited to the initial tactics. I think he'll start with Harrison and surprise us with Leadbitter.

No Flipping Controversy in Gas Line Up?
Reports that Antonio Fargas flipped out and punched his monitor and swore a bit, on hearing he didn't make the starting eleven in manager aghast's team to play at an imaginary Wembley are wide of the mark, says Fargas' agent.
Antonio is a team player and he appreciates that it's a squad game, it's a marathon and not a sprint, and you play one game at a time for ninety minutes at 110%.
Hugo the Younger has come through the ranks and probably deserves his spot at left back, he says. He's a bit lightweight, to be honest, and only four foot tall, so doesn't do well on crosses, but he's earned his place through enthusiasm and hard work, probably. Little bastard.
They say Hugo the Elder is past it, which he is, of course, but if aghast wants to play him, then that's the gaffer's decision and Antonio will respect that, even if it's completely wrong.
And having the centre of midfield controlled by someone in Australia is an odd choice. You have to admire aghast's audacious thinking on this one, says the agent. Some managers like to control the game from defence and from the wings, conceding possession in midfield, but having your key central midfielder 10,000 miles away is an interesting move and I hope it works out for him.
As for the front two. It was reported in the build up that Fargas fancied himself to get at least a hattrick in front of that midfield, provided he got a bit of service. 'I fancy myself to get at least a hattrick in front of that midfield, provided I get a bit of service,' he had said, reportedly. But playing T-bone alongside T-bone is asking for problems. Can they really work together with any sort of cohesion? I'm just asking. Will they even know what the other is doing? If they can't come up with a sensible post between them over the whole season, are they gonna gel at Wembley?
In any case aghast will be gone this time next month, you mark my words.
Fargas was not available for comment.

Well Spiess1 must be in goal surely! If I'm only on the bench, it's the last game I play in! Mehewmagic in goal? - very poor distribution. Just look at his book.
I think the team is taylor-made for ONE T-bone up front. He's a bit single-minded (!) so I would put Socrates alongside him. He's more thoughtful.

I want to play up front with the great Mattteee Taylor. Playing alongside a 58 year old should just about show how good he is. And I would easily finish the one on one chances that he struggles with.

If DC starts with Ellis then it must be on the strict understanding that if he gets booked then hes off straight away. Personally I think Blissett did enough to start next week and would start with him and Taylor. good point. we could get away with 12mins at the end at FGR but imagine being a man down with 42 mins to play [extra-time] and without one of your best penalty takers. hmmm. made me think though... if it's looking like pens you don't want your best pen takers [Taylor & Ellis] off the pitch. Also don't want them totally knackered when about to take a pen. Not easy to organise.

Ok. I'm playing Antonio Faras upfront with Tbone. I liked Antonio's attitude, and I loved the lunch his agent treated me to.
Spiess is in goal. I don't like mehew's attitude. I don't care if he starts a blog against me if he's not made captain. And he did, believe me.
I'm also dropping Hugo the Elder. He's just approached me for a wage rise. That's not happening. I'm hoping to announce a major new loan signing in the next few days to replace Hugo "I want a Mercedes" The Elder. All I can say for now is that he's from Kingswood. And he's Polish.

.........................Puddy....................... Leadbitter......Parkes......McC.......Brown Gosling......Mansell...Lines....Monkhouse .............Harrison........Taylor............... Mildenhall, Lockyer, Clarke, Balanta, Blissett No complaints. I would be tempted to put Sincs on the bench if he is back to full fitness just because of his ability to turn things around in an emergency.
