Wembley's capacity is as follows:
lower 34,303, middle 16,532 and upper 39,165
So on that basis we had approxinately 13,000 tickets in the lower tier (50% of 34k less neutral 7k)
We have sold out tier two = 8,000
It looks like we have sold about 40% of the upper tier allocation of 20k = 8,000
So that makes about 29,000.
I think we have also bought up a lot of the neutral tickets so by my reckoning Gasheads have bought in excess of 30,000 tickets.
I doubt we will sell many more tickets now - maybe 2-3,000 so we will probably have about 35,000 Gasheads at Wembley on Sunday.
I know thats less than the 40,000+ that we took in 2007 but thats still a lot of Gasheads singing Goodnight Irene - Cant wait!
Can anyone see an error in my logic?

Good point - however, I know quite a few Gasheads who have bought tickets in the Bobby Moore section.

Also, is there a row of segregation anywhere?

I doubt they will include any tickets bought directly from Wembley (Bobby Moore, boxes etc), or tickets given to the club in tier 2 (1600+) . If we can shift another 3-4,000 then it will wrap around the top tier nicely...

being serious, we didn't have half the middle tier to sell. The other half of the middle tier will be filled with friends & famalies of Rovers players ,staff & officials. Just read somewhere on a Facebook page that Lee Brown has bought 75 tickets alone for his friends & relations.

Also, is there a row of segregation anywhere? I've rounded down in my calculations so this may allow for some seggregation but yes, there may be another 1,000 or so to be deducted for seggregation.

So why does the official edict state that 36500 tickets have been sold with 7000 neutrals and 10000 Fishermen?
That means we have officially sold only 19,500. Or am I missing something?
Mind you I have no idea how many have been sold since the 5 pm announcement yesterday.
Hope your figures are correct by the way.

I reckon we'll take 35,000. The conference updates aren't including neutrals right now.

You're right about the lack of neutrals, otherwise our ticket sales would be under the numbers already stated by the club! So we're looking at 30k or just under if Grimsby have sold any more. I reckon 5/6/7k will be sold in the next week as the build up to the game starts in the local press etc.

Don't think we have sold 40% of top tier?? They are selling them in a weird order so hard to guess. Think we have only sold 7 or 8 blocks of the top tier

They havnt sold out the neutral area. 7000 vouchers holders have to claim there tickets frm the clubs so there being held back. If u ring seetickets u can get neutral but not online. Come kick off id say 3500 neutral 30000+ gas 13000+ grimsby.

If all the voucher holders are not exchanging them for tickets I'm surprised none of them have been on the forum offering them for sale? Regardless there's no way they sold 7000 tickets probably no more than a 1000.
