Just been on SEETICKET site and it looks as if tickets sales have stalled for sunday's game. Seeticket are just selling Gas tickets in 2 blocks on level 5, and Grimsby tickets sales are still at Level 1, with no more sells for neutrals. With a total sale so far of 34,000, i guess it will be pushing it to get a final crowd of 40,000, which will be way down on predictions of 60,000+

I read we outsold by 3:1 so even if we sold 30k the total would be around 40k.

That will still smash the present 42,000 record meaning Rovers will the record for most fans at two Play Off Finals, which could also set a record itself?

We are only selling tickets for 2 blocks because they only release 2 blocks at a time for sale , once they fill those they will open the next block or 2 and so on , by Saturday we had sold out in all the upper blocks from 552 to 545 which incidentally are twice the size of the blocks that flank the upper tier behind the goal , I would imagine we will sell the other blocks perhaps into the opposite corner and from the corner to the half way line on the upper tier may remain empty giving us around 34000

So we've nearly sold 30,000? We must be a few hundred off?

I take it these 'neutrals' are people or Corporations who own the seats no matter what event takes place?

So I make it we've sold about 28,400 and Grimsby 11,800 if that's correct.
Although it's not clear if the 40k total includes the 7k of neutrals in which case we'd have sold about 23,500 and Grimsby about 9,800.
So that's as clear as mud...

That's what I found odd with people on here. When tickets first went on sale every other thread was a moan about not being able to get their tickets yet. I said calm down there will be plenty to go around. We won't get anywhere near selling out. It was obvious, but some were in a panic!!!!

So just for a point of interest, who could we have played in the final (hypothetically) that might have brought more than Grimsby? Not knocking Grimsby in the slightest for their sales by the way - it's not a biggest dick competition - just a question.

Doubt anyone else would take more than Grimsby...
Wrexham already played there this season

I was also going to suggest Wrexham but they have been quite a few times recently. I don't know how many they took the other month?

I predict 43,051 I know a lot of part time gasheads & neutrals in the Norton radstock area who were put off as soon as ticket prices were announced its just not affordable to take the family weather it's a day out or not! shame really other wise I could of seen a rovers following similar to 2007!
