Relief is a wonderful emotion. From a season we never wanted in a league we hated. And on the day after a performance that was nervy in an atmosphere that was just weird. Glad to be going home happy tonight. The feeling at 1-0 was one I never want again

Ah, you young-uns don't remember 2007...*passes the baton*... Far better than 2007 - this was for our football league status. 2007 doesn't even compare

To be honest, it was very, very stressful. But yes, in the end, great day.

With all whats going on with Shamesbury,to regain our football league status at the first attempt from the hardest league to get out of,just brilliant

Bunch of Bennetts made it to the game, over £250 for the seven tickets and secretly (now revealed) paid for by our 81 year old widowed Gashead mum/ nanny in memory of long passed dad/grandpa. Memorable and emotional - so who remembers #watney cup 1972 penalty shoot out.
Amazingly available on YT!!!

This game was surreal, numb fingers and chest pains for 120 odd minutes.

In 1972 penalty shootout's were still a novelty,
This time I was obviously happy, but the overwhelming emotion was one of relief.
Now it's time for the Board to declare and swear on the bible that they will never ever allow this to happen again.
