Agreed. You could see by his reaction after the match that it meant every bit as much to him as it does to us.

The fact he ran 60 yards in the opposite direction from Mansell when the pen went in to celebrate with the fans says something. Awesome bloke. Give him a tidy contract.

I think he's been so strong all season. He was deeply personally involved after the failure last season and he has shown immense strength and determination to put that right, as if he owed it to the club.
I am so glad he's done it, for his sake as much as for ours and the club's.
He's also a bloody good manager.

The choice of penalty- takers was spot-on (pun intended). Solid temperaments; real character stepping up. Who better than Lee Mansell to take that 5th? I cannot imagine him nervous. He just slammed it in the top corner like banging in a nail.
