This will be our third trip into League Two. The first two were desperate affairs, with morale low, managers sacked and caretakers appointed, and the fanbase dwindling. I try not to think about the days of Garry Thompson and Stuart Campbell any more.
This time, we are on the up with a good young manager, an upbeat team and good support. Teams promoted from the Conference have a history of doing well.
The UWE thing may be a big obstacle, but that's another matter. Maybe we can start next season as we finished this one. Upbeat, playing well, and maybe heading towards the top instead of the bottom.
