I remember 2 seasons ago the planned invasion was aldershot away but the game then got cancelled after many were definitely going. The rescheduled game never had the desired inpact as many didn't then go. A possible 2nd chance this season as quite local good shout. not many local games that have a decent away capacity, and we've lost the Bulls and salisbury. Shots is not THAT close though. I prefer the idea of going in the away end rather than the home team being a smaller ground where we ask ./ they give us bits that normally away teams wouldn't be offered. I've done aldershot in the past as have family there and the home end is not a place away fans are welcomed .. Plenty of squaddies home from tour

Gotta be forest green on the august bank holiday surely ? Unfortunately I predict that FGR away will result in tears and tantrums for many Gasheads. It will be the same as Torquay - an all ticket game with season ticket holders buying 4 tickets each and many regular attending non-season ticket holders unable to get a ticket. As a non-season ticket holder I just hope I'm wrong.

again, I can see that happenning (especially if we have a good start)...hope we have some kind of 'club' for 'supporters' who can plan ahead with other clubs to prevent it... I've actually some experience on this . Rangers have (as you probably know) had to start at the bottom, and believe me, the bottom in Scotland is the bottom! Besides the level they were playing at, The fan's loved every minute of it meeting new fan's, going in tiny new grounds and trying all the different pies etc. And i must say the level of behaviour of all the Bears was brilliant, it makes you more humble i think and all the away teams/towns made RFC more than welcome. Here's Super Ally at thse first away game in 4th Tier August 2012 shame it didn't water down Hail Hail lol

Gotta be forest green on the august bank holiday surely ? Too obvious. Will be plenty of Gas anyway and there's not a lot of pubs etc around the ground. Kidderminster is my shout. Great little ground. Bigger way capacity than FGR. Pubs nearby and it's bank holiday too. Kidderminster would be my shout to as it is a bit more of an outing than FGR ( not too far though) - a nice little ground and they have a reasonable level of support meaning that the atmosphere would be quite good . It also has good ameneties close by

Can't wait to get beat at fgr with more away fans there than home. Saying that, we could see that ratio a few times this season. Going to be painful.

I thought the point of the Gas invasion was to get a lot of fans to places we don't normally? The local games like FGR are always going to attract a big away following as it is so easy for many of us to get to.

Although quite a long time to wait..

If we have a decent season I can see practically every game being a Gas Invasion.

The first real test of our away support for the comong season is 16th August - away to Altringham. It near Manchester, so how many Gasheads will we take. For me, i will drive up providing i get 3/4 other to share the cost.

Southport will be a good one, been there on the sauce before....its tasty.

In a dodgy seaside resort kind of way.

Maybe wait to see if we make the fa cup 1st round proper. If it's an away tie we could turn out on mass and embarrass a league team with our support. Let the cameras know that we are gas faithful and true

There ain't going to be an invasion btw. Our numbers will be drastically down this year imo. People won't be going out there way to go to Grimsby for a conf game.(the ones that go will be out there way mind) The local games will be busy but seriously, even Southport and Braintree for example, conference bollox! A!aaaaaarrrrrgggghhhgg nooioooooooooo
