Sounds like his voice is in a recovery stage, not surprised!
Think we will come back stronger from this. The current feeling in the squad, between the team and manager and board even, is one that doesn't come about often. Now we must ride the wave.

I like him more every time I hear him speak, very level headed, feet planted firmly on the ground, he can take us back to where we belong and hopefully further, providing he gets the right support and people don't get on his case if/when we have a dodgy spell!

Our problem is going to be keeping hold of him.
We accidently stumbled across DC, it's not as if he was headhunted by Rovers.
I have no doubts that DC will go far in the game, he's only 37 and he already has 3 promotions on his CV and his career as a manager is only about 4 years old.
Let's hope we can keep him here for the forseeable future.

What a negative sod DC is. I'm still bitterly disappointed we failed to reach 100 points last season. Frankly, I'm not sure I'll get over it. To only win us promotion at the first time of asking is disgraceful. Any semi-decent manager would have done it in half the time. And where have all our money grabbing prima donnas gone? All I see are short contracts on relatively average wages? On top of that, we barely used our sick room last season. No wonder poor old Phil Kite has felt it's time to retire. This isn't the Rovers I used to know. I want my Rovers back

Fortunately DC's drunken comments also attracted a fair bit of attention so hopefully that will keep him off a few peoples recruitment list for a while at least!

A top bloke and a top manager as well so far, I really think he can keep us rising on up another league or two, I also think that the court case could be a deciding factor in how far and how long he's here, if we get the right decision and start building the ground I can see him wanting to stay here to lead us out in it as a league one team, because he can see the potential in us.

Ha - suck that one up Mad Dog! Well deserved Darrell. If they'd carried on their form instead of chucking away an 11 point lead I think he would have won it but they stumbled over the line.

The football under him was much more entertaining.
