Been released by PV....
What do we think? Any potential there or not good enough?
I thought he was decent when with us last time despite difficult circumstances..

Seemed a bit hit and miss to me. One of those players who always looked good against us but when they sign for us they don't seem to play as well.

Agree with Bishopston to be honest.
On his day he was a handful. But to be honest, I'd hope for better and honestly believe DC will find us better.

We thinking Dawson > Mohamed?

We thinking Dawson > Mohamed? Hmmm tough one. How old is Mohamed now? If he's near 30, then definitely Dawson. Dawson has raw potential and would be a squad player and one for the future. If Mohamed is over 26 then he'd just be squad player. That's not to say he wouldn't develop, but as I rate both quite similar at present, if age is on Dawson's side, you'd expect him to go on to be the better player. Not to mention he'd probably(?) be cheaper as has no doubt only been on a youth contract up until now. whereas Mohamed is a seasoned pro (well, more so than Dawson at least).

I liked Mohamed, wouldn't have a problem with a return provided he ticks all DC's boxes

No. Blows hot and cold . Rather have a younger player with hunger . Dawson back for me Dawson over Mo every time. The way Dawson traps the ball , his movement and skills show that he's been trained by top coaches and I think he'll go far. I don't think mo has ever played above league 1 and if he's on his way down then I don't think he's the winger we need.

And so the obsession with ex-players continues! Wasn't good enough last time, won't be good enough this time.

With better quality (our midfield is much better now) players around him he would be a good addition, if we didn't get Dawson

Mohamed is 30 now and will be 31 in July. I think there are better options out there.

Personally I would probably Mosul, Iraq. Although my opinion of him as decent does come from a season where we basically played without wingers. Thought he was head and shoulders above Santos but only one of them is now playing in the championship so it's possible that I just don't know anything about football.

I note however that he did manage 28 apps and 5 goals with a struggling cobblers in league two last season.
there's a good amount of evidence he can still cut it in league two.
Just saying like.
