Woking fans not exactly singing his name from the roof-tops.
Not one of their priorities when wondering what players will re-sign.

Where does it say anywhere about signing this player?? It doesn't, it was only last week and hasn't been announced. I have a mutual friend to James who told me today.

Hmmm, we'll see. I don't really understand why...
1) We didn't just sign him last summer, out of contract at Salisbury 2) He's only played 30 games, seemed like a back-up player there?

Strange signing for me if it's true. This for me is Clarke's biggest challenge in creating a good league side when the majority of his contacts are very much non league.

Il take non league triers over some of the proven league quality Shiite we've seen over the last few years.

Maybe it is tricky signing a defender when they know they are already fourth in line for centre half and third in line for right back ...so for this position a promising player from the conference given the incentive of working hard to get a league chance is the right option..

Looks a good signing if true, in the same vein as several from last season. Knows Darrell and was successful playing under him. Had an excellent game against us for Woking last season, will be hungry for his first dose of league football and will be inexpensive because of this.

Jermaine Easter is a million miles from non league. I get the feeling a few targets last season didn't want to drop down. However time will tell over the coming months. I think we might be surprised. Well I hope so

If this is true I think it sounds a decent acquisition, as he will be a third or fourth choice centre half and/or a second choice right back. But he is of a similar ilk to some of last summer's signings in terms of being hungry and he is coming into his prime as well, which can only be a good thing. I would suggest it means Trots is moving on, though.
I do think we will sign some quality players this summer, DC has got contacts and we must surely look an good proposition right now on the back of a fantastic immediate return to the FL.

looks a good signing if its true,,,it would be a 1 year deal with a player out to prove himself in the league,in both our games with woking they were strong at the back.

We also have to bear in mind that Woking were one of the part time teams who trained just 2 eveniings a week - so who knows how he will develop when he goes full time.
It does make you realise just how good a job someone like Gary Hill the Wokingt ,manager does bearing how little training he gets with his players and the obvious difficulty in attracting players who are looking for full time opportunities.
