Five thousand plus is big for where we are and have been for the past 20 years have a look how many clubs with our delapidated facilities are getting more. Bristol is a sought after location as ridiculous house prices show. Is there an asking price? I thought any new owners would just have to honor current commitments. If it was so good we would have been snapped up whilst on sale then? Not saying it's good just pointing out a couple of positives. To be honest I think anyone wanting to buy us would have to be an ardent supporter with money or someone with money who wants an extreme challenge or both.

The indian takeovers quite often struggle as no matter how wealthy the owner may be in his own country it is not always easy to get money out . Some Governments want inward investment not outgoing and take measures to make life difficult for people trying to take their money to another part of the world. A friend of mine regularly acts for Indian residents and told me that it is very difficult getting large sums of money out of the country regardless of how wealthy the person may be . He predicted that the take over of Blackburn would end in tears a few years ago and whilst that hasnt happened yet -the investment they wanted hasnt happened either.

Same problems with Fulham as well......

I wonder if any foreign investor has managed to turn their investment in a lower league club into a profit?

Maybe they have been inspired by what tiny Bournemouth have done.
