Billy Bodin has rejected Cobblers contract in favour of a two week trial at The Gas. Has got to be a great sign and great signing !! UTG! ! ?

Or he simply wants to stay near his home which I assume is in the south west or thinks we'll offer him more wages?

Would be a good signing on paper.

I don't think he rejected Cobblers in favour of us. He could agree on a deal with them in May and then DC offered him the opportunity to come in recently.
Still, if he proves he is over his injury problems I think he could be a clever signing. Relatively cheap, I'd imagine, but highly rated not so long ago.

Would be a good signing on paper. Based on what? 14 goals & 13 assists in 130 appearances?

Short term deal perhaps? Seems he has the talent but not the attitude. All players will try when after a contract. It's what they do once they've got one. As we know all too well.
