You decide for yourselves:
Sounds like it's going to be a good game with plenty of old faces turning up (not playing) and hopefully some decent football on show. Would be fantastic to have a "healthy" turnout for our long-suffering Physio.

I would guess he was a Leeds supporter up to the age of 8. Wrong I expect but it seemed a bit obvious.

brilliant interview! I heard a rumour that Kitey is a closet rovers fan.
am I the only one now slightly worried that we are apparently playing a full strength PL team in a 'proper' game, just before the season starts!?
BTW, i appreciate that anyone can stand on a terrace for £1O, but i find it all a bit elitist that ex-players mingle / eat / sign autographs with people paying £4O-5O for hospitality. I hope that those players will use their own initiative to have a wander along the terraces as well so the plebs can say hello, get selfies etc.

That's hospitality though. Same at most sporting events. Pay more get more.

he lived 3 doors down the road from me in westbury with his wife and kids, if i saw him in the village i always said "alright phil", but i never introduced myself as i'm one for privacy etc, he probably wondered who the f@ck i was and how i knew his name....
it was always amusing when he came running on the pitch because my sister always shouted "it's neighbour"....

Definitely a Gashead. At Rodway School, him and his mates would tear around the playing fields in the summer, catching younger kids and giving them wedgies! Got cornered in the cricket nets once but Kitey let me off because I was wearing a Rovers scarf!
