We win, no appeal, promotion, new stadium, more promotion, champions league, world domination. Simples. That still wouldn't be good enough for a certain few on here. Yeah, some people like a row for the sake of it don't they?

I've been involved in law enforcement, with the associated court cases for more than 30 years. I've never been told any verdict before it was announced in court. Not been involved in complex civil matters but the principle is probably the same. Verdicts are delivered in the court room, not leaked beforehand.

World domination, yes. But not just at ANY price. The players would have to dress nicely mind.

Some things are known by interested parties before the judges decision. A close friend of mine is in the fracking game, for example. Big money, disputes, planning, etc. Stuff gets leaked there but this k gut be different? Just saying....

I always thought if there was an out of court settlement the judge wouldn't need to take/announce a decision? Or is that only the case if a settlent is reached before the trial ends?

I believe that if there is an out of court settlement, the details, along with any conditions are lodged with the Court. The Court would have no further involvement, unless the terms of the agreement were breached.

Spoils it! Much more tense in criminal cases! So, if people know, we can read anything or everything into comments, the lack of comment, who goes or does not go somewhere. That way madness lies.

Thank feck it's going to be over. Whatever happens, at least it's over. Unless we win and they appeal. And then its not. Enjoy your weekend. Surely an appeal would lie with their belief that the judge has misinterpreted the contract, could take ages for them to come up with what she has missed, then surely she could just bat it away if she was already knowledgable about that part of the contract?

It's gone on for so long I'll beleive it's over when it's over. I've done my best to ignore the situation over this last year or so and just try to concentrate on football matters. Ever since we left Eastville theres been stories in the local papers about this stadium plan that stadium appeal etc. I know we are probably closer than ever but it feels so far away and it will until we're all stood in a new stadium. Maybe it'll happen in my lifetime maybe it won't but as long as we've got something to play / support in at least we can still do what we enjoy, being a gashead.
