Unfortunately I have a prearranged medical appointment, nothing serious, so am unable to attend.
On my last day in Court, the Wednesday, I asked our Junior Council how we were doing. He replied 60/40 in favour of Sainsbury, BUT that was before the closing arguments.
My opinion is that Mrs Justice Proudman will find in favour of Sainsbury but aware costs against Sainsbury for not using "best endeavours" in completing the Contract "within the stipulated timescale".
I do so hope I am wrong.
PS - I believe that NH and TW will be in attendance.

If that is the case then at least the club won't go straight into Admin and it could be the UWE could be financed from a different source.

That will only happen if NH refuses to sell the club to new investors who will be well aware of the potential debt and the timescale that the debt(s) have to be repaid, after the verdict.
I really do not understand all this hogwash about going into Admin. Perhaps there are some Gasheads who revel in such a outcome.
In certain scenarios, I can see that such a verdict will hasten the club being sold to new investors.

I don't understand that^.
The club has been available to 'new investment' for years. Has been put up for sale not so long ago, and NH tried to walk away last year. Nobody has come forward that is suitable, apparently. How is a failed stadium bid, which puts us back to square one, going to make us anymore attractive than we were 3/4/5 years ago?
The club and stadium are different companies right? So whoever buys the club gets what exactly? Doesn't seem like much to me considering the debt attached.

Severncider that all sounds spiffing but how can you be so sure? Based upon what is in the public domain, losing tomorrow could spell administration. A high interest loan to pay back sharpish and no way of paying it other than relying on the present incumbents to put their hands in their pockets. No gashead will revel in that outcome but without any knowledge other than what has been made public you can see why people would worry. Why are you so confident that there is nothing to worry about?
