According to someone who was there today. Clarke said he hadn't heard anything but believes the board will find out on Sunday, 24 hours before the official verdict. Does anyone know if the information is confidential or not?

Think we all know it in our heart of hearts don't we? The time taken, change of judge, legal loopholes all add up to a bad result.
I pray I'm wrong but this is Rovers!

As I understand it only the legal teams know in advance, and even they are not allowed to divulge the answer to the client.
But never mind, it's only a few more hours anyway, whichever way it's gone.

It did not happen when Mr Justice Higginbottom gave his decision in the Bristol Court. Toni Watola and Nick Higgs only heard of the decision at the Court and had no advance notice.

The legal team will get advance warning the day before (which I assume was Friday given solicitors/barrister's offices are closed on a weekend?) whilst they can forewarn NH/TW they won't be able to discuss it outside of the privileged few so nobody will really know the verdict until Monday.

They all know already! If multi millionaires haven't got the knowledge from within then the law is an ass. Of course they know, or they have a very good idea.

Well clearly the multi millionaires running Rovers & Sainsbury's don't know or they wouldn't have wasted millions on legal costs asking the High Court to decide?

What's the purpose of replying to my post like that other than to get some attention? Lawyers speak to eachother. They will have a grasp on the judges decision and they will nudge and wink accordingly. All these cats share cigars.

Isn't that what a forums all about, replying to other posts or am I missing something?
Nobody would have known the verdict until the Judge informs the respective legal teams, that's how the legal system works in this country.

The legal system in this country is not so tight. We all know that. Tip offs, leaks, wrong decisions.(God forbid) I'm just assuming that those in high places will have more than an inkling(.sp)

This forum has given me an irrational hatred of the phrase "or have I missed something".

But he did not know of Judge Higginbottoms decision before it was announced as I spoke to GD before the verdict and after the decision in the nearby pub.
