Clause 27.
'there is little doubt that the agreement is tortuously, laboriously, and in some respects badly drafted. It makes any draftsman itch to have a try at it'.
This is what the high court judge said. If we have to throw more money at court cases, sue our original lawyers, not Sainsburys.

Wasn't the contract prepared by Sainsbury's though? Not really sure we want NH to be encouraged to sue anybody TBH!!

Isn't that the Sainsbury's way? They always want a contract that has more holes in it than a tramps vest.......so that, if need be, they can do just what they have done!

I suggest that we just drop it now. What's the point of wasting more money? We're not going to win f**k all!! We're stuck with a shithole of a ground for the foreseeable future. It is a kick in the teeth after all the hard work on the pitch laast season. I think the main fault of losing this lies with those bastards at TRASH, i hope they all burn in hell. I really thought this time a new stadium was for real, when we got the planning permission it was all go from then. How wrong can one be. Should have known being a gashead f**k all goes for us. Totally gutted and can't see us moving from the shithole of a ground EVER!!!

And now the legal advice says we have good grounds for an appeal...
the same legal advice that said we had a good chance of winning, before the judge basically said it wasn't even close.

This has always been a gamble, we have gone nearly all in on this deal and im not sure we have a solid plan b, so they will continue to throw abit more money at it until we are all in and have nothing left to play with, the club have gone so far with it they wont stop now

I seems to me that it is now seen to be impossible - or at least very unwise - to have any contract with a major corporation. They have the resources to just walk away when they want, with no cost.

The legal team is obviously going to say we have grounds for an appeal - they get paid for doing it!
We should drop it now IMO.

And now the legal advice says we have good grounds for an appeal... the same legal advice that said we had a good chance of winning, before the judge basically said it wasn't even close. An Appeal must be allowed by the Judge or the Court of Appeal. Leave to appeal is only granted if the appeal has a reasonable chance of success.
