So, if we were to rotate the Mem pitch c.90 degrees (like with the previous abandoned plans), one of the stands would be in the middle of where the car park currently is. This could leave room for development as the season is ongoing. And a decent size stand for 5,000 with a bar and offices and various facilities would take about 120,000 bricks. What if everyone brings a brick to each home game? It is a wonderful plan Antonio. Unfortunately in true Rovers' style it won't work. When the rugby club sold an option to buy on their training ground (now Trubshaw Gardens) it removed the necessary room to rotate the pitch. Well looking at it on Google maps that's not quite right. Yes, it would be tight but if you take the current west stand as a starting point you could fit the pitch in with the west stand as an 'end'....the difficulty is keeping a workable stadium doing it this way, as the West Stand so central it's hard to pick the best way to 'build around it'

Don't get me wrong, it would be a nightmare and would mean massively reduced capacity for 18-months to 2-years. But it's possible.

Surely with our massive budget we could find a couple of decent wingers to exploit a wide pitc.....oh wait, yes, I see what you mean...
