Another in a long line of commercial/marketing cock ups!
It's not as though we have a £2m + loan, that needs repaying shortly, hanging over the club.

To me a technical issue means the supplier has cocked up,I remain to be corrected on this by somebody in the know?

Unfortunately, due to a technical issue, we will not have any junior sizes in stock and while we appreciate this will be a huge disappointment, not to mention inconvenience, to our younger supporters we regret that they will not be here in time for Sunday’s kit launch. However it will be possible to pre-order a shirt and once they arrive they will be despatched FREE OF CHARGE. We have been told that delivery will be in the week commencing 3rd August, so all those who wish to purchase a new shirt should have one before we kick off the new season on 8th August. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! This technical issue, anything to do with the club?

That's made my decision for me regarding plans for Sunday. I'm not suprised, not even dissapointed really. It is normal Bristol Rovers bullshit created by incompetent clowns. I don't give a f**k if it's called a technical issue. This could and should be sorted way beforehand.

The "Fun Day" is entirely for THE KIDS to be taken along by their parents, for them to have a "fun day", surely?... I was fully behind the board with the whole stadium/Sainsbury's thing, I think they did all they could, but this is truly an embarrassing shocker!! They've had soooooooo long to get this sorted, there should be a standard system in place to ensure that (every year) this is all sorted WELL BEFORE it's too late. Whoevers job it is (I'm guessing, by this thread, it's Bradshaw?) to arrange that the kits are ready to be purchased, should NOT NEED to be given the boot, as they should see themselves that they have failed miserably and should step down immediately, for the good of the club going forward. If they don't offer to step down, then they are clearly in the role for themselves and not for the good of the club, and as supporters of the club, we should DEMAND that they are removed from their role! It is Bradshaw and whilst I agree with you we kind of need his money still. He is the one in charge of marketing etc and he's failed so he should leave that part of the club. Can he just go home and keep giving us the money?

I'm with you bags, there is no way the club could have got some shirts in before the fun day. Literally nothing they could have done.

Get off the boards back. There's a simple explanation I'm sure. All will be revealed when the top to bottom review is published.

If it is Errea's fault then I expect an announcement in the very near future that we will be using a different kit supplier next year.

What a shambles. Technical issue my arse. Can you imagine a proper football club not having children's shirts on sale at a children's fun day!?

Actually maybe we should be praising them? I'm surprised they have let us know in advance rather than let us turn up on the day to be disappointed. Come on surely that is an improvement?!

Isn't Boycie mates with someone at Errea, hence we've had them for a while?
