Unfortunately, due to a technical issue, we will not have any junior sizes in stock and while we appreciate this will be a huge disappointment, not to mention inconvenience, to our younger supporters we regret that they will not be here in time for Sunday’s kit launch.
However it will be possible to pre-order a shirt and once they arrive they will be despatched FREE OF CHARGE. We have been told that delivery will be in the week commencing 3rd August, so all those who wish to purchase a new shirt should have one before we kick off the new season on 8th August.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Obviously the contract we had with the kit suppliers was not watertight Better sue them. Or should we appeal first?

One of those things I guess but it's disappointing not to have kids shirts at a kids event.

One of those things I guess but it's disappointing not to have kids shirts at a kids event. One of those things? Like when we didn't have any shirts for sale leading up to Wembley? When we didn't do enough to promote and market potential sales. It's not one of those things. It's consistently poor marketing from Barry. Chuffing useless.

Perhaps our kit suppliers wanted cash upfront ?
Either way, change suppliers or ask BB to leave.
What an opportunity missed! Worse than not having shirts ready for Wembley!

Yes I agree that the lack of Wembley shirts was frustrating but they couldn't get loads of shirts in incase we didn't get to Wembley. We could have ordered this seasons shirts in time if we didn't have the sponsors raffle and that could well have contributed to the delay this time. It's all good pointing fingers at the board but how to we know that this delay isn't at the other end?

This is not acceptable. **** planes have technical issues, not bloody Football clubs !! Exactly the same thing happened last year with the kids away kits ! Its Parrot Jnrs Birthday next week and i had promised him a shirt with his name and age on, as ive done this for last 5 years ! He will be absolutely gutted I could maybe accept as a one off, but you would think they would learn ?

Not as if this is the first time is it?!

I cant help but think the club should abandon this method of releasing shirts on the fun day. Surely it cant be that much more successful than releasing them earlier. We all know its nothing to do with Errea as we have seen other clubs release theirs some time ago.

It is very difficult to resolve this sensibly, but I'll try.
How about, do the sponsors draw at the latest by the end of January, then order up the requisite amount of stock. Now then, if we get to Wembley you can sell it early (keeping current season sponsors on the players shirts), and maximise the sales. If not, it's ready for the fun day anyway.
Now the big question is, how long did it take me to think up all that?
Pretty much instantly actually.
For god sake get these marketing clowns out of our club.

On a side not will our kids home shirts have either a different sponsor or not one at all as it's sponsored by a pub?

The "Fun Day" is entirely for THE KIDS to be taken along by their parents, for them to have a "fun day", surely?...
I was fully behind the board with the whole stadium/Sainsbury's thing, I think they did all they could, but this is truly an embarrassing shocker!! They've had soooooooo long to get this sorted, there should be a standard system in place to ensure that (every year) this is all sorted WELL BEFORE it's too late.
Whoevers job it is (I'm guessing, by this thread, it's Bradshaw?) to arrange that the kits are ready to be purchased, should NOT NEED to be given the boot, as they should see themselves that they have failed miserably and should step down immediately, for the good of the club going forward. If they don't offer to step down, then they are clearly in the role for themselves and not for the good of the club, and as supporters of the club, we should DEMAND that they are removed from their role!

71 days without stocking a blue & white quartered shirt after a Playoff win. Only Rovers.
