Not wanting to knock Matt Taylor, but another missed penalty against Cheltenham is giving me cause for concern.
Looking back at the season highlights, we know MT also missed away against Grimsby, but the penalties he scored were less than convincing - in most cases the keeper guesses right and often gets a hand to the ball (as did the Grimsby keeper at Wembley).
So in order of preference, who would be your preferred penalty takers?
For me the pecking order would be: Lines Mansell Easter Harrison Taylor Brown

Has to be lines for this season imo he takes all other set pieces.

Yeah, nothing very convincing about MT's pens.
Istr Brown missed one, but I'd feel happier with him taking them.

I'd have Lines take them personally

I've not been overly impressed by Taylors penalty taking. Even when he scores the keeper usually goes the right way and sometimes get a hand to it. Its a penalty miss waiting to happen, for me I'd give Lines or Mansell the job if neither fancy it then Harrison will!

Wouldn't have Brown anywhere near penalties again. He scored an important one at Wembley, but he missed his previous two. Manse's winner in the PO Final was emphatic, but DC said he missed the two he took in the practice sessions the team did before going to Wembley, so I wouldn't fancy him taking them full time.
I would have Lines or Easter personally. Easter has taken them during his career and Lines is a dead ball specialist, so I see no reason why he couldn't be a regular scorer from the penalty spot too.

Harrison...took his one last season well and is also the best natural finisher at the club.

Lines or Brown for me, every time I rewatch the play off final it still looks like the keeper is going to save Matty Taylor's effort !

Harrison is hungry for goals and doesn't lack confidence. He is also prone to a rush of blood though. At this level, Lines has that extra class and would get the nod from me.

I think Mansell should take the spot kicks this season. If he is not on the pitch, then Lines would be my next choice. I personally wouldn't let Taylor anywhere near a penalty kick.

Harrison. If he misses one it'll be good for his development.

Seen Brown miss a fair few, with the one at Torquay on the last day being the worst of the lot so I'd be content with pretty much anyone other than him
