What happened to Lines on Tuesday as I can see DC's suggested he was rested, did he really need one after just one game?, or injured?

I would stick with the same formation. Back 6 picks itself really. Sinclair, Lines and Mansell (if fit), Harrison and Easter or Taylor up front.

I would change the 2 strikers. Blissett and Harrison for me. Its been a long season and Mattteee could do with a rest.

Harrison has to start, simply because he is by far the best finisher we have.

I just get a feeling Bliss was purely brought in to help get us up from the conference only, something different he was a useful if unpretty addition and did his job, but maybe never deemed by DC to be up to league 2 standard, if there is such a thing
But this is probably rubbish as we paid a fee for him..
Strange one

Mildenhall Clarke - Lockyer - Parkes - Brown Leadbitter - Sinclair - Lines - Gosling Harrison - Taylor.
Subs: Preston, Easter, Bliss, Montano, Monakana, Broom, Malpas.
Pretty easy for me. Harrison must start, Taylor understands him well and with time will bag goals. Easter looks a little bit off the pace so far, would bring him on second half regardelss of the situation. Gosling is a danger and looks better than the 2 wingers we brought in from what i've seen.
Leadbitter will tear any left back a new one and will track back.
Lockyer should play in his natural position.
Clarke looks competent on the right of defence.
I am assuming Mansell isn't back. If he is, i'd put him on the bench.

I think the starting line up from Tuesday did well and deserve a shot at starting tomorrow. Bring Lines back on the bench and Maybe swap Easter and Taylor at a push.

Thinking back to the great excitement and expectation over the Easter signing, followed by the misfortune of his immediate injury, I wonder if DC will want to get him into the XI as much as possible, to get him match fit and scoring. He did look promising when he first appeared.

On Tuesday, I was thinking that if we'd had Lines in for Gos, we'd be looking really good.

I think the conditions will play a big part in the team selection tomorrow and I hope DC picks a team that will work with it and not against it. If we're up against the wind and rain get your grafting players in the centre, the last thing we want is a lightweight player like lines getting kicked about trying to knock balls 30 yards when the wind will send it out for a goal kick its just boring and frustrating.
I see no need to have a defensive set up either especially against weaker teams like Yeovil so scrap the 5 at the back! Lets boss it in the middle use the wet surface for skill and speed down the wings and have the biggest striker we have bully the CB's.
And if it all fails which we all know it will get Tom Parkes big left toe nail and punt the ball onto Blissets head!
Mildy
Leadbitter Clarke Parkes Brown
Lockyer Mansel Sinclair
Ellis Bliss Matty T

I really liked the set-up on Tuesday night, and think it suits the players we have in our squad far more than 4-4-2 does.
Some people perceive it as a negative formation, but if the wingbacks play high up the pitch (almost as wingers), then it can be a very attacking formation IMO.
Lets not forget that C*ty went up last season playing the system we played on Tuesday for pretty much the entire season - and scored a shed load of goals in the process.
I'd go for:
_________________Mildenhall ________Clarke_____Lockyer_____Parkes __Leadbitter_______________________Brown __________Sinclair__Clarke__Lines _____________Harrison___Taylor

If we're going to play a formation like that then we'll need much better wingers as we cant expect Danny to keep getting forward as we'll soon get caught out. The reason it worked so well for city is because Freeman was one of the best wingers in the league.
