Strange how Blissett has had a good pre-season goals wise, yet doesn't get a sniff.Other strikers are struggling to shoot yet are still selected.Managers favourites by the look of it.

We certainly need more potency up front so I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple go out on loan.

Shame if he goes out on loan, as we now have two wingers and could play to his strengths. He gives us a different option from the bench, trust DC in his judgement, but has not been given a fair chance in my opinion.

Seemed odd today to have Malpas on the bench and three wingers and no Bliss. Offers something different to what we have and if he does go out on loan or is transferred that will be another player short on quite a thin squad with no signs of anybody coming in.

Strange how Blissett has had a good pre-season goals wise, yet doesn't get a sniff.Other strikers are struggling to shoot yet are still selected.Managers favourites by the look of it. The manager picks players because he can see what they bring to the table. Unfortunately, Blissetts touch is water poor and he's not dominant in the air for a big guy which is why he isn't picked. I assume your snipe is at Taylor. But what you fail to see is that even when he's not scoring, his link up play is worthy of a start and I'm glad that DC sees that. Him and Easter are very similar players but some say that JE is a proven goal scorer but I'm yet to see that side of his game and question wether he will ever be the quality striker he's been played out to be. Ellis should be classed as the first name on the team sheet as he is our only real danger man. And I trust DC to bring in someone of similar class as the season goes on to partner him, to help us kick on for a top 7 spot as I feel the rest of the squad is pretty much there. Blissett isn't and never will be the answer up top and I'm happy DC isn't taking any passengers

Steve, in theory Blis gives you something a little different but in reality Ellis is quicker, stronger and better in the air so I think we can only assume that having working up close every day with Bliss for the last 18 mths DC doesnt fancy him for this league and wants him out or at least out on loan to free up the wage bill. Re the bench abdolutely right to put Malpas on there as with Mansell injured he's currently our only central midfield cover, Gosling can play in there but he's really a wide man, Greenslade was sat behind me yesterday I am surprised he wasnt on bench as defensive cover rather than one of the wingers or Bodin, the bench seemed a little unbalanced. On the plus side a very attacking bench!

Heard yesterday that DC has three players lined up to come in,but has to reduce wage bill to enable this to happen. Assume this is one of the reasons Bliss is being shipped out. Don't think Mildy will hang about much longer either.

I don't think Blissett is good enough to play at this level and he doesn't really fit into the way we're trying to play.
He was a decent signing for the Conference and helped us out of that league but he's not going to get much - if any - game time this season, so it would be best for him and us if he moves on.
I think he'd be a useful addition to any Conference squad.

Seems a strange one especially as we were supposed to have spent money on signing him?
He offers something different (you need this at this level) which is why I want him to stay but to get the best out of him he needs a run of games which he won't get with us, hopefully him and Jamie Lucas will be back and better for it.

DC did say he was one for the future when he signed him, so perhaps a period on loan will be the best idea. At present, not good enough.
