Long as we avoid Lee Swabey. Sounds like he gave more than a helping hand for their first win of the season on Tuesday. Probably the very worst official I have ever seen - and I really do mean that.
He ref'd our games a couple of times last season, most notable in the playoff semi first leg.

Looks like a nailed on red card, to me.
Not quite as nailed on as the bloke who fouled Leadbitter, though.

Penalty was a nailed on red certainly but his general performance was apparently poor.

I was a bit too young but on YouTube there's a vid with Gas commentary of our 2-0 win against the sh!t at Trashton in the mid 90s. The commentator says ''and the referee tonight, we all know him, it's Gurnham Singh'' ... I assumed it was just because he was a Pakistani gentleman, but perhaps he was more known because he was a bad referee?

I'll nothing said about Gurnam.
In the last six games he was in charge of us, we won five and drew the other.
In his last game in charge of us on 03/10/1998, we won 1-0 home to Bournemouth despite him sending Roberts and Trees off. Both sending's off were stupid. Roberts got involved in a tussle with a defended on the floor and Trees kicked the ball away for a second yellow card.

Wasn't there a Jarnail Singh a few years later too? Yes 2004-2009.
We won three, drew two and lost four, so not as good results wise.
