Enough with the watertight. We can't do those.

Nobody wants to admit it but Blisset is not good enough. So there.

He was good enough for Kidderminster against us... and that cool calm finish after Taylor passed it across at home against Lincoln (I think it was them, could be wrong) I was very impressed by.
I think he has potential and hope it isn't the last we hear of him!

Don't worry about DC's contract. It's a one year rolling deal, so it will run until we pull the plug or he dives 12 months notice.
In other words we can always get compensation if we want to keep him. Can't do more than that.

Yeah well I'm done with the rare flashes of ability. Consistency is key in the lower leagues. I want(ed) him to crack it, but how long do you wait? It's no good keeping on about the Kiddy game, that was 1 game ages ago. He's done very little for us. Nice kid apparently but we've no time for that.

No sentiment in football if we are to get somewhere. Doesn't sound like Tranmere fans were overly impressed by him today either. We need someone who can do the business now not keep giving a player a chance who has about 1 good game in 10.

Not good enough unfortunately. Good luck to the lad though, seems like a thoroughly lovely bloke.

Bliss unfortunately is just not a league quality player. He was hardly a good consistent standard of performer in the conference.

Easy for Bliss really. He now needs to start scoring in the conference. If he failing at that then there is the needed proof that he can't cut it in the football league. Fair play to DC for letting him out on loan to try and prove himself.

If we can't get rid of Blisset can we really afford to keep Easter, Harrison, Taylor, Blisset and a new striker? I can't see how we can afford to have 5 strikers.

6 you've overlooked Bodin but I assume for at least a month Tranmere are paying some of Blisset's wages. Unless we've given them a free month's trial.
You still wonder what's going on with Bliss given he's never played a league match, but scored in the preseason friendlies. Perhaps that's the dangers of giving a previous part timer a full time contract?

I would like to see him come back and force his way back into the team but sadly I feel that won't happen. I would like to see Jamie Lucas come back after his loan spell to get a place on the bench, maybe around Christmas.

Whilst Blissett is on loan we only have 3 strikers. Easter and Taylor are competition for each other. At the moment Ellis has no competition for his place, not forgetting he will be missing in 2 weeks times as he will be away with Wales U21s.

Is it though? I can see DC having his budget written down and split by GK, DEF, MID, ST. If he's got a budget to spend he will spend it. If Bliss is not giving Ellis the competition he needs then we need someone else in. And if that leaves us with 3 people competing for one spot then so be it.

I dont think its attitude or effort, he just is not good enough and i dont think he will do anything in the league below either.
