IF we get a home draw in the JPT and the club were to offer a special hospitality deal would anyone be interested?
I would guess that a full hospitality offer would see so few takers that the Drill Build hiospitality would be closed and all meals were in the Exec boxes.
I was think of a meal deal along the lines of pasty or pie, mash, veg, gravy (of pie or pasty chips and beans etc) followed by dessert and tea, programme and seat in Drill build for a sensible price.
A few years ago season ticket holders were offerred a deal on a special hospitality buffet meal on an evening game and I think the response was pretty good.
As many people do not go to early JPT games, the chance of a place in hospitality may encourage more people to go. If a Blackthorn season ticket holder was not interested, maybe a meal in the Drill build may entice them. It would also mean more people spending money over the bar, so it would benefit the club if the numbers were decent.
I would stress that this is only my own thoughts and nothing has been raised by the catering department, but they should be flexible to any feedback if it is positive so it could be something the club could do.
If you are interested in this, maybe you could contact robert@bristolrovers.co.uk and maybe the tail can wag the dog. As a programme and 50/50 seller I only get to have a hospitality meal once every 3 or 4 years, so I would do it with friedns and family so that would be one table! If you have a birthday in October, maybe it could be a semi-affordable birthday bash!
