A Welling player has been charged with feigning injury (not sure how links work but hope the link below does the trick): www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34204326Danny Rose went down like Mike Tyson had thumped him and the circumstances in the BBC report look very similar. Maybe if the FA start charging for this type of play acting it will stop happening.

I can't see Rose being charged. He was caught by a Clarke flailing arm but the red card was overturned as there was no intent there. Most of us would probably hold our face after being caught regardless of whether it was an accident.
Plus with how quickly the ref pulled the card out, he didn't give Rose a chance to do the somersaults, back flips and rolls that a lot of players seem to do to feign injury.

He went down like he had been hit with a baseball bat, possibly thought the whistle was for his flailing arm so did the old I'm injured trick. One of the biggest time wasting diving and moaning teams we have played against in years.
Feel free to disagree with me if you wish, I will not be offended.

No, he was caught. Just because it wasn't a sending off doesn't mean he wasn't hurt.

Tom Parkes took two elbows from Ryan Taylor and didn't react like that, each to their own

If you need the physio on for on field treatment then you should have to go off for 3 minutes after.
Time wasting problem solved.

On the flip wouldn't that encourage foul play on the basis an injured player would have to leave the field, imagine 2 or 3 quick bad fouls and a team could be down to 8 or 9 players for a few minutes!
