Pompey have no goal keepers. 3 are injured and they only have a 16 year old lad and a 36 year old who's been training on a not contract term to keep fit.
gary Roberts missed the Oxford match and was expected to be out for 2 weeks so hopefully he won't be fit for us because he's a class act.
They also had another midfielder sent off saturday so he'll miss out.
An Oxford mate of mine said they battered pompey and they didn't look all that ( on the day ) even though they're unbeaten it's a great chance to play them especially if the mem is rocking and we get in their faces from the start we'll have a good chance of ending their unbeaten start and could just be the win that'll kick start our season again.
I'm confident, let's do this !

Thing is, they could have no goalkeeper at all, if we don't shoot like usual we ain't gonna score.
Having said that I think the players will be buzzing after snatching a point down there last week, and a win is definitely possible, a good crowd and we can really get the team going, would've liked possibly to have seen a goalscorer come in on loan but if there's no one out there then it's no point in getting someone in who isn't going to do the job and be better than what we've got and in that respect in DC I trust.

We're due a win and - if our strikers did have one clinical game - it's the sort of game we could definitely win in front of a rocking crowd at the Mem.
I just really hope we don't fear Pompey and take the game to them as, with their injuries and suspensions, I think we could cause an upset.

Hope they don't sign an emergency loan Polish goalkeeper (crikey, I must be showing my age).

As for Saturday, I would think a "shoot on sight" rule would be appropriate.

This is Pompey we are talking about not Chelsea,we are bristol rovers and we should be winning our home games in this division Utg Tbf, they have a significantly bigger budget than we do. Despite us being "Bristol Rovers", Pompey are a bigger club than us. Granted, they are now in the same division us as, but they are certainly still in a different league financially. On top of that, they're above us in the table. So whilst I love your optimism, I personally make them favourites for the match (as I'm sure most bookies will).

One of the big games and I hope a momentum builder for next month or so, looking for a higher percentage of shots on target and less trying to walk if in. A set piece goal is due too. #UTG
