Hiya all,
Tranmere fan here,
Just to say we have not taken up the option on Blissett and Brabin confirmed he will be returning back to you
Not sure what to make of this time with us to be honest, scored a good goal against Grimsby but think its the only accurate thing he has done since he joined
Was hauled off at HT in last nights game as well and had to be said had a nightmare of a game
Would be surprised on the games I have seen of him if he made it with you especially at League Two level

Good luck with the season ahead, there are some good places to visit in the conference, but having said that,i am so happy to be out of there

Real shame, has all the physical attributes to a be a very good striker, just sadly can't actually play football.

I wonder if Kiddy would want him back. They seem to be in turmoil at the moment, could be nice for him to go back to where he was starting to show some potential and hopefully rekindle that.

I'd imagine that Rovers would want his wages covered by a club that he was loaned to and Kiddy are on a shoestring at the moment. He may not be the answer to our lack of goals at the moment, but he would provide a different option to the other strikers at the club IMO. I could see Nathan having a role as an impact sub, particularly if we are getting delivery from wing backs or wingers. Worth a try.

most of us were surprised when we paid money for Bliss after a poor game in which he scored against us. He's tried hard to improve on everything since he arrived tho and good luck to the lad-if effort gets you anywhere he'll make it.

I think his record, at conference level, is pretty decent everywhere he's been. 1 in 2 starts at Tranmere, 6 in 18 starts with us, 2 in 3 for Cambridge and 10 in 36 for Kiddie. I think he is a bit low on confidence but there is an effective player in there. He can be an awkward bugger to play against when on song. I hope he finds a decent Conference club but the league might be a step too far at this stage.

^Erm, the Tranmere fan politely said he is sh**e! 1 in 3 isn't terrible but he doesn't make any goals, which as a big guy isn't really acceptable for us.

I like bliss he makes me laugh but he couldn't put a cap on his head let alone a football, maybe he could help with the 50 50 draw tickets he would sell loads in St. Paul's before game

Think fans being a bit harsh on Bliss as before we signed him he was rated as a decent striker in the Conference, whilst I doubt he's got what it takes at league level he's probably good enough for most Conference teams. Having said that given we're down to one decent striker at present in Harrison, then surely Bliss is worth a place on the bench if DC can't bring in another striker, as Taylor & Easter have been little goal threat in recent games.

Agreed. Although I do think Lucas is probably ahead of Bliss in the pecking order atm.

Yeah Lucas should start alongside Ellis once he's shaken off his piles

Topper I agree with you because from I have read in reports (not been able to go recently) neither Taylor or Easter seem to deserve a start, Have to say I would have sent out Easter on loan to get his match sharpness up, he said recently he was only at 70% which I think is a concern. Ellis has to start in my view as he appears to be our only real chance of scoring goals.

I don't think Bliss is good enough for most conference teams at all. I do think Lucas should be our option as the target man.

I think E.T (Easter) should start just behind front two he looks lively but seems to be scared to shoot

Bliss may be hilarious to watch and plays like bamby on ice but I honestly don't think he could do worse than Easter or Taylor. His unpredictableness will create goals and he's taller than the rest by a long way.
I would give him a chance.
Why should we keep give giving strikers a chance who have failed time and time again. Time to try somebody else.
