The tesco bag design was said to be one of the best selling kits in recent years due to the fact that was different from the usual standard quarter design.
If the current away kit design (phased in lines instead of quarters) was used next year as the home kit ie predominantly blue with phased white lines, do you think it will look good and be a good seller?
We could rotate the designs with a white home kit with phased blue lines the season after

Hugo the clubs retail outlets are accused of not being innovative enough, don't diss the idea out of hand.
Simon still yearns for a red strip don't forget

Stripes, hoops, halves, diagonal halves, diagonal quarters, big thick line down the middle, etc.
We're really limiting ourselves by having one basic design only.

Recent years? It's the 20th anniversary of that kit next season. Twenty years of the club not spending a penny on the ground as well. Anyway I digress. Next season I want hooped socks, a round collar and a Dam pirate flag somewhere.

We will see a red rovers kit before long. There's no way that a forward thinking, opportunistic retail group will miss the obvious benefits. It's only keyboard warriors and village mentality people that dismiss it.

Next season I want hooped socks, a round collar and a f**king pirate flag somewhere. Imo we should redesign the badge as a simply, iconic pirate flag. Marketing wet dream.

Money has been spent on the ground recently, black markings on the edge of the steps, mesh only the railings of the Dribuild stand. Forced by HSE as we can't use the UWE excuse to not carry out health and safety works, you disbeliever

As somebody who began supporting Rovers when they were playing in plain blue shirts I really don't see the quarters as part of our identity as long as we play in blue. I do think that sticking rigidly to the quartered shirts probably makes it difficult on a marketing basis.

I look at the cover of the published history of the club and see Geoff Bradford in his classic quarters scoring against Newcastle United in the quarter-final of the FA Cup in 1951...
No change for me, thanks. Keep to the quarters. And I mean proper quarters, not some vaguey-waguey artist's impression of quarters.

I do think that sticking rigidly to the quartered shirts probably makes it difficult on a marketing basis. I remember the all blue shirts - absolutely hated them as they made us just like a lot of other teams. I still don't understand what made the club jettison the famous blue and white quarters for a few years. I think the quarters were reintroduced as a result of supporters' dislike of the plain blue and wanting to go back to the traditional Rovers' kit. UtG

Away kit? Reverse Black Arab kit (black is too dark under some floodlights).
