His sending off today apart, he is starting to look the classy Championship player DC signed. Now he is match fit you can see why we signed him. Just a shame he go injured for the final few months of last season. Just look at his goal today to see he is match fit. It's just a shame we lose him now through suspension.

Why exactly did he get sent off, I was under the stand buying a pie and bottle of Heineken (there was no natch, don't judge me) and I've seen the highlights on sky which shows his dive but nothing that would warrant s sending off.

It came up on SSN Vide-printer as violent conduct. I'm thinking something happened after the dive that the cameraman missed?

Apparently 'raising his hands to a Mansfield player'

Still no clarification on what he was dismissed for, we will miss him based on his current form but regardless of potential appeal etc, I'm sorry he deserves a 3 match ban for that dive!

You don't sign Championship grade talent as a Conference team unless the player has issues. JE is injury prone and a bit of a ****, that's the trade off we have to make in order to have him wearing the quarters. As long as he keeps scoring after his ban I'm willing to overlook incidents like today.

There doesn't seem to be anything in it. Will be interesting to see if we appeal.

Well he won't be bloody match fit after a three match ban will he. It is three matches for violent conduct isn't it. By the way the FFA bought in a 2 game ban for diving 3 or 4 years ago. A Central Coast Mariners player got banned. Surprising a Sydney FC player got off a few weeks later .

He won't get a 3 match ban if we appeal. Nothing in it.

He won't get a 3 match ban if we appeal. Nothing in it. Just seen it on the TV, terrible dive but no way did he react to it, it was that tool who pushed him seconds after.....and then did it again after he was sent off, did he receive a booking ?

Just saw on Football League Show. Slags player went at him and Easter did f all. Surely an appeal would make sense?

I know you can't get a red for diving but that was one of the worse dives I've ever seen! In my opinion you should be sent off for that anyway! Hopefully there will be clear video evidence that nothing really happened after and we can successfully appeal

I actually don't like it myself but like it or lump it, that's part of the game now.

Easter goes down too easily. He's been a good signing and brings a touch of class. However he has lost some pace (33yrs) and often goes down when beaten to the ball. As regards yesterday he deserved a yellow for the Tom Daley impersonation, but a red was harsh.

I'm not singling you out, but sadly yours is the majority view. I understand that. Yes, it's part of the game. But that's only because people are only too ready to accept and expect it these days. It needs harsh action of lengthy bans based on retrospective video evidence to get it out of our game. Diving should never be accepted.

It is sad but that is how it is.
