We have a great habit of winning games late on. Credit to the players for showing character and commitment. You just cannot beat a late winner away from home. It always feels sweeter! UTG. Attachment Deleted

Reminds me so much of the gas in 1989 / 1990. A team better than the sum of its parts. Under a manager who didn't have the best of beginnings. A couple of players plucked from non league who turn out to be gems. A team fighting to the last seconds of a game and picking up vital points. Brilliant.

The kind of Fighting spirit we haven't seen again until now.

Remember that game,we battered them all second half but could not score, their time wasting was ridiculous, constantly changing the throw in taker.the goalie changing his mind where to kick the ball out from and the ref let it go unpunished, then we scored two in two added on minutes. Sealy first and then Boris i think with the winner.

Clarke's post match interview. He comes across really well every time I hear him speak, he tells it how it is, no nonsense. He also confirmed it was a straight red.

I thought he was perhaps a little harsh on the players but I think that breeds a culture of success. Let the players know that they can and should do better, even after beating an unbeaten team away from from home. I remember hearing about Sir Alex Ferguson giving his Aberdeen team an absolute rollocking after winning the league because he felt they had underperformed in the final game. He didn't want they slacking off. It must be great to play under Clarke. You can tell his players want to put a shift in for him.

I remember Ollie laying into the players after we had just beaten Luton 4-1 away, following another 4-1 away win at Oldham a week earlier, he was fuming saying we should of won by 6 or 7, we were top in March, by May we finished 7th

That was probably the best 3rd Division in terms of the quality of the teams, for decades, you only have to look at the players that went onto play at the highest level. We had Roberts and Ellington who went onto play in The Premier League, and Astavajevs who played in Euro 2004 Preston had Jon Macken, Sean Gregan and Kevin Kilbane Millwall had Tim Cahill, Steven Reid and Paul Ifill Wigan had Roy Carrol in goal and a host of other players who cost a bit of money Burnley signed Gazza and Ian Wright to get them over the line And Stoke had a quality team for that level too We finished 7th with over 80 points, any other season and we would of comfortably been top 3

I actually enjoyed & looked forward to coming to the games. I haven't felt the same since.
