Two shockers and two good strikes from them by the looks of it. Parkes has missed 10 times easier headers than that for the last two seasons up the other end, God knows what he was trying there!
Bad day all round, apart from Bodins strike of course.

Letting it bounce was a mistake for their third granted, but he still had a lot to do from there. 9 times out of 10 that mistake wouldn't cost you a goal.

Their 3rd and 4th were superb tbf. My guess with Parkes is that he was caught in two minds about heading clear or dropping it back to the keeper. Didn't drop the power enough for the back pass.

Did you notice how good the longish range efforts were from Newport yesterday? Apart from Bodin nobody has the ability or guts to have a crack from outside the box. How many times did we stutter and lump the ball sideways yesterday when in a good attacking position? Unless we can score by the tap in or close range nod we are unarmed. I expect Bodin will get dropped for his non-team like escapades........

Just looked at it again. That goalkeeping mistake was without doubt, the worst I have ever witnessed in 50 odd years of watching Rovers. It is inexcusable. I dont ever want to see him between the sticks again.

I dont ever want to see him between the sticks again. Agree with the first part. Second part is very harsh. Nicholls is the best all-round goalkeeper we've had all season. The calls for Mildenhall to be reinstated are ridiculous. Probably by the same people who wanted him to be dropped after his numerous errors.

I think you have just got to forget that they were bottom they played far better than that, they got the breaks and we made some terrible mistakes. Everyone out there knows that was unacceptable, but when did we last get a pasting like that. Time to move on.

Halloween comes early this year. Yates has his work cut out on the training pitch next week.

Having just seen the highlights it was an awful error.I can only think that he was looking for a quick distribution option and totally lost concentration,no excuses though which in sure he would admit.Dont think he should be axed though.

Some shocking keeping/defending and some wonder strikes.
Always a recipe for disaster
Heads up and onto the next one! we cant dwell on this result for too long.

Parkes had a long shot yesterday, in fact it may not have landed yet! I wondered what that was landing in my garden last night! In respect he misunderstood Clarke's instructions that he 'needs to keep it down'. He thought he meant to check the ratings before ordering on 'Just Eat' - something he looks like he has been doing a lot again lately. Looks to be up to the same weight he was during the relegation season.

I highly doubt that he has gained that much weight.
He come out and admitted to the public that he was overweight during the relegation season and was rightly shot down for it I don't think he would be stupid enough to put it all back on and face the embarrassment again.
