Interesting heading on this article.
Bristol Rovers Chief
Perhaps this is something that NH has not told the BoD.

Listening to his 20man interview was actually refreshing.
i.e. someone who sounded like they knew what they were talking about.

Just a typo I assume? Perhaps another Q for the SCAGM?

Ah, now it all makes sense.
There was no consortium, the mystery buyer was Colin Sexton.
That was why Higgs was able to deny the consortium rumours as, technically, it wasn't a consortium.
The figures being floated around were also wide of the mark. The actual sum of money CS paid was 30p, not million.
Also, regarding the rumours he'd be building the UWE to original specification upon acquiring the club, this was a misunderstanding also. What CS actually said was that he one day hopes to stage WWE matches at the Mem, as a full spec ring would easily fit on the pitch.

I've learnt more from CS over the last week than what I have from Nick over the last two months.

What a great interview, quite informative and dodged the DC revenue fund expertly, hands up I never liked him because he seemed to despise us when I Heard him at The 82ers. condolences to him, having recently lost his wife. if Nick came across like him he would have more fans than detractors, actually sounds a safe pair of hands even if Henbury does not want to get sloshed with him!

Would be nice if CS penned the next Chairman's report as what we get isn't too incisive.Just a summary of our most recent games in essence.

Knowing now what pressure CS has been under recently, i can fully understand why he was a frequent visitor of entertainment places in Westbury on trym. I would be happy to let CS buy me a drink as i'm often reminded that i'm parsimonious in nature...

Looks like I'm in the minority of not liking CS and wishing he was nothing to do with us.
Clearly still has big love for the other side and couldn't bring himself to even acknowledge he was now part of Rovers.
Agree he interviewed better than Higgs though.

Agree he interviewed better than Higgs though. To be fair that's not difficult, still think CS skirted around any difficult questions, it still seeems the same story - we can only progress if the UWE is built but no real clues how we're going to find the £30m+ needed to finance it and also pay off our £8m debts.

Consortium. That's a clue right there.
