Have to agree with Dins - Well done to all the mods a thankless task but we now need actions against posters who clearly overstep the mark in my opinion as it appears discipline without punishment has little to no effect and i say that with respect to all - Oh and Dins - Thank you for your recent support in the consortium thread it has not gone unnoticed and is appreciated - UTG No worries mate, will buy you a pint sometime. I'm glad we were able to bury the hatchet. I say daft things sometimes but always make sure I say sorry and make amends. I only popped back for a minute and I'm still here. On my best behaviour mind. As for my mod comment, i quit for 6 months because you failed to deal with stuff, that was as bad for me as the stuff itself. New start though, they make it a great forum.

It should not be down to the mods to get posters to treat each other with respect and sort out silly bickering. Poster can take their own action by blocking posters if they wish they can choose whether they get drawn into petty personal spats. I believe the mods are correct to take action as a last resort and I hope it stays that way. The mods can only do their job with our help

I'll tip my hat to you if it is.

I think a permaban should be handed out to anyone who, after a thread has been deleted, starts another thread asking where the previous shìtfest of a thread has gone, causing yet another load of nonsense.

Why can't the Mods operate a yellow/red card system, a yellow acting as a warning, a red if they continue to overstep the mark and the poster gets banned for whatever is deemed an appropriate time by the mods? Having said that I can't understand why, when posters disagree, they have to get so personal just because they are behind a keyboard, they wouldn't do it face to face at the Mem so why do it from behind a keyboard?

It really is crazy how easily things can spiral out of control and get blown out of all proportion on here. The best thing about this forum is there is more freedom of speech, I like that.

I said I think the mods are right to act as they have by taking action as a last resort. I think measures such as banning posters will open up whole new can of worms imo.

For my twopenrth worth. As not been on this week so just catching up.
The mods have a thankless job and do not want a Korean state but imho opinion they have lacked balls in banning the perennial offenders.
The last time this raised its ugly head GGMI was given a public warning so i am not in the slightest bit surprised he is again involved. Why bother warning if no punishment is to follow for repeat abuse.
Myself, like others, do not post as often as we would like or normally would as to be honest he hijacks most posts and bores the pants off me.
Yes, i will agree i can be a WUM but at least i can back it up with a reasoned arguement.
Get rid of GGMI and this forum would be a happier place.

You want the forum to move forward. Really
In that case close your account before you are left talking to yourself.

Yes i have and the way forward is for you to go and do one or are you to thick to realise that this thread was started because of you and not for you to act as peace maker.
You are a serious wrong un. No one wants you on here and people have left in their droves because of YOU.
If it gets me banned then fine but the mods have bottled banning you and to be frank that wateres me off

It's a bit like Vinnie Jones suddenly supporting a campaign to wipe out violence on the pitch.
