Two WUMs in a face off on a thread about simmering down. Irony is strong with this one Lol. I found the "are you TO thick" quite ironic. Gave me a chuckle anyway.

Yes i have and the way forward is for you to go and do one or are you to thick to realise that this thread was started because of you and not for you to act as peace maker. You are a serious wrong un. No one wants you on here and people have left in their droves because of YOU. If it gets me banned then fine but the mods have bottled banning you and to be frank that wateres me off I would agree that we have bottled it, to be honest. However all I will say on the matter is, GGMI is on his last warning. Nothing more needs to be said. We do not want to ban anyone but yes we are now at the point that it is the final warning. No exceptions, even if it's harsh. One final chance has been given. I would suggest the best way to continue is to try to leave the past to the past in order to hopefully enable GGMI to take the final chance he has been given.

Good post Fanboy, well done and thanks to the moderators for the work they do. It's easy to criticise them but I think that is completely unfair as it is is an impossible and thankless job. I have a suggestion though. Clearly the responsibility of being a moderator when bans are being called for is difficult. Lots of different opinions, damned if you do, damned if you don't. In the legal system you are judged by a jury of your fellow men. Why not have a poll to see whether GGMI's fellow men believe he should serve a temporary or permanent ban? The options could be: 1. No action should be taken 2. Yellow card - a final warning, another offence and you will be off 3. Two yellows - a week's ban 4. Straight Red- a month ban 5. Ban for life Personally I would go for two yellows, sufficient to make the point that he stepped over the line but I would welcome him back into the team after a little time on the bench to think about his behaviour. I think this is a good option as it removes a huge weight from the Mods but also reinforces the message that we all have responsibilities, the forum is best when we accept those responsibilities and act appropriately and, most importantly, any offender found guilty will clearly get the message from his fellow posters about how they feel. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts? That could get into ganging up and bullying someone and is open to abuse. The time to issue a ban for GGMI has passed and the Mods have dealt with it and we have to support and accept that decision now. Maybe people could put themselves forward to become a Mod if they want to feel more part of the process?

I'm not sure why you do it but fair play, you must be smiling every time you write a post on here, the amount of people that take your posts seriously and get wound up by you is a bit frightening!!

Good afternoon everyone please be seated: Having read this with interest it is soddin apparent discipline is both missing and needed! I note the mods saying that they have 'bottled it' Now this is where anarchy is starting and indeed Ruling because if there are no bleedin consequences the childish soddin behaviour will bloody continue believe me! I therefore put myself forward to be a moderator : I shall as you would expect be harsh but fair and i assure you i will not back away from carrying out the hard decisions! I am not online 24/7 but if someone needs bleedin firing cause they are ruining others enjoyment i'll do it as soon as i'm able! Good day to you all
