Bizarre one. I wonder how we came across him. Excited by this rumour though. We do have form from over that part of the world, we got Michael Smith from Ballymena don't forget. Maybe it's the same scout?

Towell looks just the player to mop up any chances around the box. Hopefully he can rub us up the right way. Heard he good on a wet surface

Given it looks like we'll want decent money to move to England can we really afford to take a chance on a player whose never played in the FL in the past? Particularly if he's midfeilder rather than the striker we need?

If a move to us doesn't work out he could always move down the road and become a Bath Towel.

He cant be that good other wise bigger and better teams would be taking a punt on him. The other side of that coin of course is if bigger and better teams took a punt on him then we wouldn't stand a chance of getting him. His CV looks good to me.

The Beard being a classic example of a player over looked for years because of the team he was playing for, although given the tweet above I doubt we have any chance of capturing his signing.

If he's out of contract does it matter? Not if he was out of contract before the transfer window closed, he can sign anytime then. Sounds interesting, but why has he had no club for months??? Has he been injured?? Ireland is a summer league.

Looking at his goal-scoring record and the videos of him on YouTube he looks a very exciting prospect! But then so did Wayne Brown...
Having said that I'd be more than happy if DC decided he was good enough and we managed to get him in, although as said above looking at that tweet from Dundalk FC it seems unlikely.
