I see they have failed once again to pay the wages for last month, thats the second time.I think, and I could be wrong, that if a player does not receive his wages for 3 months he can consider himself a free agent.Based on that which of their players would you sign, for me it would be Marc Richards and controversially JJ OToole

Not sure about JJ. I think he got a lot of unfair stick. Top scorer in our relegation season. Not as good as we had hoped but still

I spent 2 years living in Northampton.... my recommendation to anyone who's thinking of doing likewise is:
DON'T DO IT

Creswell (centre back) and Taylor (centre mid) I thought these 2 stood out a lot in the opening game of the season, they were the big skinhead lads if anyone remembers? Can't really judge on one game of course but they are the players from their team that stand out in my mind based on that game.

Richards nearly signed for us under Atkins. Made a few preseason appearances then went elsewhere before the season started.
If we didn't have the strikers we already have, I'd be in favour
As for O'Toole, never

What's the betting like Hereford last season until they eventually folded Northampton find the money to pay the wages next month?
Regardless, it's not going to be a free for all as I assume if the players do become free agents we won't be the only club making them offers. Although Richards seems just what we need, a big CF but with a bit if skill.

All I remember was that the announcer had the names of our numbers 9 and 10 round the wrong way. He did look decent then and scores gaols on regular basis.

If they fold that will affect the league table so our defeat will presumably be 'Wiped' but not sure if we'd benefit.

I think it would benefit us as we wouldn't lose any points but those teams who have beaten them presumably would... Not that i'd wish it upon any club mind, I hope they can sort themselves out.
