If he chooses not to listen then I don't think it will go down to well with us fans. Time to get Higgs out and move forward!!

LOL here we go again. Post number 5, about a consortium that doesnt exist..... These talks have been going on for nigh-on 2 months now. Longest negotiation's ever, must be a hell of a lot to talk about....... No they haven't. There's a consortium but Higgs doesn't want to talk to them. I believe they withdrew their offer last week due to lack of response. If that's the case then I'm sure you could tell us what it was rather than beating around the bush.

Sainsbury's are doing us over again, firstly by walking out on the deal now we're stuck with NH until the Appeals heard. Let's hope that's sooner rather than later or we'll become an even bigger laughing stock in the footballing world (assuming that's now possible?)

I have no idea what the details of the offer was so Higgs might be right to ignore it but £40m had been secured to invest into, the club/stadium via a merchant banker.

If that is true then it would suggest NH no longer has the best interests of the club at heart. I expect that is why he is doing his upmost to keep it out of the press despite the local rag having a copy of the offer. If that is true, then journalistic integrity on Temple Way is clearly deader than anyone could imagine. Why would they not run a story on it?

Its time the insiders reveal what they know we have been playing this consortium game for nearly two months now! We cling to the hope there is some truth in all this because the alternative doesn't bear thinking about, but its been too long now, time for the truth to come out! Over to you insiders....

One of higgs' get out of jail free cards in the form of a lucrative cup run has now disappeared, msp will want their money back very soon, the appeal is his last throw of the dice, the corner he is backed into is looking more and more difficult to get out of. Make the call nick, it's almost over.

Come on Nick do the club a favour and ring the consortium first thing in the morning and bring this nightmare to an end! Darrel Clarke is a good manager but does not have a budget to compete in this league, let's bring in new owners who can at least give the team a chance to compete, Darrel has worked miracles so far with the weakest squad in our history! Harrison, Taylor, Bodin, Brown, Mansell, Parkes, Gosling, Blissett, Montano, Lines... If there is a consortium interested in buying the club now is the time to accept their offer, one thing is for sure they cant be any worse! Why does he need the budget "to compete in this league" against a team ranked 75 places below us. What a ridiculous post to make. I'm all for slating the board usually for not backing DC enough but we put our strongest side out today and they lost. That is DC and the players fault, not the board.

I have had it confirmed to me in the past that negative stories about the club have not been pribted for this reason Shocking if true. But in reality, what's negative about "club received approach from consortium x for £40m, club declines, stating its reasons"? We would put a negative overlay on for them but no reason it has to be written as negative. Time the cyborg editors of temple way grew some virtual bollocks and represented their readers. Come on James
