Hi all,
I took one of my lads along yesterday for the first time in a while (with the exception of the Wembley final) and despite the shower of s.... performance i want to take him again, especially as he asked if i could take him to an Arsenal match next time.
If I start to take him i should really take my youngest boy as well who is 6 and wanted to know what was the cheapest option of getting tickets? I have heard others say about some membership offer where you can sign kids up to it for £10 or so but then purchase kid tickets for a £1, although i couldn't for the life of me find anything on our website.
It's nice to have a seat and i am a 'side view' kinda guy so £22 + 2 x £13 in the East Stand is £48 ....is this the best option? I stopped going to Rovers games a while back because of the cost and regularly attend England games instead which i can get for £60 with 2 adults and 2 kids, less the travel expenses of course.
So please can someone help with the best option that you know of. It doesn't have to be seated but it is preferred.
Thank you and UTG

South Stand is cheaper but view isn't as great. Very family friendly though.
If it's a one off or you are trying to get him hooked its worth pushing the boat out for dribuild seats.

As long as they get rid of that goddam advertising boarding. Someone's going to get a Baggins e-mail about that this afternoon. Farm foods indeed.

Thanks for your responses so far.
so is the £10 or so one off payment with future tickets at £1 for kids a myth? Happy to call shop and check then post on here but info on here is usually better/clearer than what's on our website or available elsewhere.
Cheers UTG

If you buy an adults ST you can get a kids ST free through the young pirates.
Membership of yp is a tenner.

Young Pirates membership is £7. If you want the free kids ST with your adult one the club charge you £3 on top of the YP membership.

I had 4 or 5 seasons of taking my son and his mate for cost of YP membership attached to my ST. Sadly they are both over 11 now, but luckily both hooked. May still be worth it this late in season if you have more than 1 kid and go to all games

The East Stand is a great place to watch the game from but the amount that they charge for kids means that I don't take my daughter even though she'd like to go. The free u11 season ticket offer is not available for the East Stand. The cheapest place in the ground for children is the family terrace, but the view isn't brilliant and you obviously don't get a seat.

If you buy an adults ST you can get a kids ST free through the young pirates. Membership of yp is a tenner. Any season ticket holder can sign up to any 3 kids on the season ticket. Not sure if you have to do this before the season though.
