Guys,
we have a lot of ppl here. Club looking for ideas for merchandise. Please just pop a couple ideas down of stuff u think would sell or u would buy. Ill tweet them to the club.
cheers in advance.
ill start.
small flags for the kids would sell i reckon. Cheap and novelty and a nice momento. Adds to atmosphere too.

Ras
Speaking as a man who is not the average size in clothes, maybe the club could stock more larger sizes for clothes ??
Look around the crown on a match day and the people not wearing the colours tend to be of the larger size
Just a thought

Something for the children. I have 2 girls and there is a very narrow range of clothing for them. Pink t shirts would be a start.

1. That van is always in the Mem car park match days. 2.Duvet covers did not sell. 3.Car air fresheners already on sell. Also at one time there were phone covers, again I don't think they sold well.
Whatever suggestions come up it has to be commercial, some items have to be bought in bulk which means you have to sell an alful lot of them, unless they are high priced items(shirts, etc) Believe me,over the years there has been a mountain of stuff that hardly sold, and then had to be heavily reduced(0n Fun Days for instance!!)Also think some of it was so bad(And old)it may have been chucked!!!
See other thread.

See other thread. Fair enough. Do people think the club shop has its prices right? If I am honest I have been put off buying stuff because it's been too expensive for what it is. Last time I was there I paid 4 quid for a plastic water bottle!

The accessories are crap mind. Sticking the logo on random stuff doesn't work. The velcro wallets for example or passport holder look dreadful

The club should make more of the fact that the fans are no 12 and sell merchandise including strips, mugs etc with the number 12 on the back or emblazoned on the front. People would see it as a way of becoming closer to the club and people who presently used shirts that are perhaps 10 years old - would have an incentive to buy a new one.

One thing I've never understood is why they don't sell posters of the team photo. Must be really cheap to produce and could sell for a couple of quid. Every young Rovers fan would have one on their wall. Instead you get one from the Evening Post.
Unless it's changed and I'm being a clown.

UWE has a creative industries/fashion department. The students there might be able to design a range a clothing, accessories which taps into the uniqueness of Rovers. Big Barry might want to contact them and see if there is any mileage?

How about a quarters polo shirt inc badge (no sponsor)? Possibly with 12 on the back as Phillistine has mentioned.
