In the Uplands stand today? I was in a box opposite , rather than my usual spot in the blackthorn end and could hear a drum coming from the other side but I couldn't tell if it was the away fans or not.

No. It was the lads enjoying centenary hospitality banging on the steel upstands. They just caught a tune is all.

Yes, sounded like a big noisey group in dribuild stand. Good to hear down on the terrace below. They were having a ball. Think the bar did well!

Yes when I heard Irene coming from somewhere other than the Blackthorn I thought it was the Carlisle fans!

Yeah, a group of blokes right at the back of the Dribuild. Banging against the cladding and making a fair old racket, got the Blackthorn to join in a couple of times as well.

I'm surprised they weren't told to be quiet. There're people trying to read up there.

It happens a couple of times a season. I used to sit up in the Dribuild and it always amused me to watch the reactions of those who sat around me. They would act as though they were at the cinema, with people talking at the back. Lots of turning around and tutting/head-shaking.

I hope those lads can come every week. Fantastic atmosphere in the dri-build this week.
Even some of the people who are usually quiet joined in.
I never heard 'Bristol Rovers boys making all the noise' sung before either so that was a nice treat.

When the FFSC are in hospitality there is always plenty of noise and some of the dribuild regulars look a bit shocked by it. Probably wakes them up.

Reminded me of the game at home to Swansea when Atkins was sort of in charge (don't think he officially started until the next season at Mansfield). Think we won that game 2-0 too. Never known the Dribuild as lively as that day.
